When the first Ronald McDonald House(RMHC) opened in 1974, their mission of helping keep families together while sick children are receiving medical treatment was the same as it is now.  By keeping families together, the RMC believes that they can help make children happier and healthier during the time they need their family the most.  

RMHC has over 300 chapters in 62 countries and regions with 344 Ronald McDonald Houses, 187 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms, 50 Ronald McDonaled Care mobiles, and more.  The RMHC also provides grants to other non-profits, and provides assistance for US students to achieve their college dream.
